Regular Season Round 19: Sevilla 2 - San Juan 65-63

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Sevilla 2 (4-9) edged at home 8th ranked San Juan (5-8) 65-63 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 18-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Polish point guard Andrzej Pluta (190-0) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points. Montenegrin swingman Stefan Vlahovic (193-1) helped adding 8 points and 4 assists. At the losing side center Sebastian Dominguez (207-90) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Antonio Rodriguez (185-78) scored 9 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Sevilla 2 moved-up to ninth place in Group D-B, which they share with Jaguarzo Adepla. Loser San Juan dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Sevilla 2 will face league's second-placed ULB OH!TELS in La Linea in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
