Regular Season Round 13: KFUM Lidingo - BG Lulea 93-87

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked BG Lulea (6-5) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked KFUM Lidingo (7-5) 93-87 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 6 points. KFUM Lidingo forced 22 BG Lulea turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Felix Magnusson (197-92) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard John Sundkvist (185-93) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Five KFUM Lidingo players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard David Hook (185-99) responded with 8 points and 11 rebounds and guard Simon Finden (190-0) scored 20 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. KFUM Lidingo moved-up to fifth place. Loser BG Lulea dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. KFUM Lidingo will have a break next round. BG Lulea will play at home against KFUM Uppsala (#10) and hope to win that game.
