Eredivisie top team - Lekdetec.nl (10-4) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat eighth ranked CTO (1-13) in Bemmel 92-76. Lekdetec.nl made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 CTO turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Cornelia Fondren (173-93, college: Syracuse) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals. The other American import forward Sarah Curran (180-95, college: Drexel) contributed with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Fondren is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Lekdetec.nl's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Robyn Bouwer (178-0) replied with 18 points and power forward Julia Jorritsma (182-99) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for CTO. Four CTO players scored in double figures. Lekdetec.nl have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-4 record, which they share with Den Helder. CTO lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
