There was no surprise when 10th ranked San Salvatore (6-9) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Udine Delser (10-5) 71-66 on Saturday. Udine Delser forced 20 San Salvatore turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for guard Debora Vicenzotti (182-89) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points and 6 assists. Power forward Eva Da-Pozzo (180-95) helped adding 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Udine Delser players scored in double figures. Udine Delser's coach Amalia Pomilio allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Ilenia Cordola (183-96) with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized Canadian Melissa Rondinelli (184-91) scored 16 points. Udine Delser moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser San Salvatore keeps the tenth position with nine games lost.
