There was a small surprise in Murcia where twelfth ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (8-9) defeated 9th ranked Myrtia (8-9) 79-72 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-72. The best player for the winners was American swingman Andre Norris (201-94, college: Dubuque, agency: Two Points) who scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Donovan Smith (206, college: Quinnipiac) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. British Matthew Don (201-93, college: Cameron) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and American center Chris Matagrano (206-90, college: New Hampshire) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Myrtia's coach Quini Garcia tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Agustinos-Leclerc moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Myrtia and Real Canoe. Agustinos-Leclerc will face higher ranked Albacete (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
