Very predictable result when second ranked Vivo/Franca (10-3) won against 11th ranked Vasco Da G. (4-9) in Rio de Janeiro 81-67 on Saturday. Vivo/Franca looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Vasco Da G.'s players. Pedro Lima (191-87) nailed 22 points for the winning side and the former international forward Rafael de-Souza (208-88) accounted for 10 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international Guilherme Giovannoni (203-80) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and guard Luis-Gustavo de-Oliveira (190-91) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Vasco Da G. in the defeat.
