There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Capo d'Orlando (7-10) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Roma Tiber (7-9) 75-67 on Saturday. Guard Daniele Ricciardi (184-81) stepped up and scored 15 points and 6 assists for the winners and guard Giorgio Algeri (185-95) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Roma Tiber players scored in double figures. Roma Tiber's coach Marco Polidori used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Roberto Marinello (179-91) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Serbian David Paunovic (198-95) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Roma Tiber moved-up to ninth place in B. Capo d'Orlando at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. Roma Tiber will face Isernia (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Capo d'Orlando will play against Salerno (#4) and hope to win that game.
