Very important is a road loss of third ranked Sokol Lancut (14-4) against seventeenth ranked KK Warszawa (2-16) on Saturday night. Visiting Sokol Lancut was defeated by KK Warszawa in a tough game in Warszawa 71-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sokol Lancut. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Michal Wojtynski (193-89) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Mikolaj Motel (192-94) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Kamil Zywert (185-96) answered with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sokol Lancut. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted KK Warszawa maintains seventeenth place with 2-16 record. Sokol Lancut at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Polfarmex Kutno. KK Warszawa will play against higher ranked Slask (#11) in Wroclaw in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sokol Lancut will play at home against the league's leader Spojnia (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
