There was an upset in Kloszko where higher ranked Slask (7-11) was defeated by fifteenth ranked Nysa Klodzko (5-13) 88-72 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Nysa Klodzko especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Swingman Tomasz Stepien (192-86) fired 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Dominik Rutkowski (194-98) chipped in 19 points. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Adrian Mroczek-Truskowski (195-85) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Nysa Klodzko maintains fifteenth place with 5-13 record. Newly promoted Slask keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Nysa Klodzko will face higher ranked Enea Astoria (#13) in Bydgoszcz in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
