Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked MKK Siedlce (2-12) was rolled over at home by third ranked Sleza Wroclaw (10-3) 91-60 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-60. Sleza Wroclaw dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to MKK Siedlce's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Dutch Kourtney Treffers (187-94, agency: Court Side) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Marissa Kastanek (175-90, college: N.Carolina St.) helped adding 20 points. The best for the losing side was naturalized Ukrainian forward Oksana Mollov (188-88) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and international guard Katarzyna Trzeciak (172-92) scored 16 points. Four MKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains third place with 10-3 record having four points less than leader Wisla Krakow. MKK Siedlce lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Sleza Wroclaw will face bottom-ranked Widzew (#13) in Lodz in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
