Seventh-ranked Joventut LC (7-7) gave a tough game to first ranked Real Celta Vigo (13-1) on Saturday. Real Celta Vigo managed to secure only two-point victory 63-61. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 20-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Real Celta Vigo dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Joventut LC's 20. They outrebounded Joventut LC 46-31 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They share the position with Lima-Horta. Real Celta Vigo are looking forward to face Maquinaria Ensino (#6) in Lugo in the next round where they are favorite.
