Regular Season Round 19: Siarka - Polonia Leszno 74-94

The game in Tarnobrzeg supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Polonia Leszno (16-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Siarka (9-9). Polonia Leszno did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 94-74 on Saturday. Polonia Leszno made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for center Szymon Milczynski (204-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Adam Kaczmarzyk (198-88, agency: Promotex) helped adding 24 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side the former international center Piotr Niedzwiedzki (210-93) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Szymon Dlugosz (202-92) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Siarka's coach Arkadiusz Papka rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Polonia Leszno have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 16-2 record behind leader Spojnia. Siarka lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. Polonia Leszno will meet at home Pogon Prudnik (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Siarka will play against Pruszkow (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
