Important game to mention about was the one when fifth ranked Dacin Tigers (7-7) saved a 1-point victory edging 4th placed Fubon Braves (7-8) 83-82 in the game for the fourth place. Worth to mention a great performance of Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. The former international forward Yi-Hui Lin (193-86) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Dacin Tigers players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) answered with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) added 22 points and 4 assists in the effort for Fubon Braves. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Fubon Braves at the other side dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. Dacin Tigers will play against KKL (#6) in the next round. Fubon Braves will play against Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
