Naturalized Argentinian swingman Manuel Carrizo (196-80, agency: Players Group) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners and guard Lorenzo Panzini (186-90, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 19 points. Five Cassino players scored in double figures. Argentinian guard Nicolas Morici (192-94, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Pasquale Battaglia (188-93) scored 17 points. Cassino moved-up to third place in B, which they share with Crema. Loser Catanzaro dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. Cassino will face Roma Luiss (#5) at home in the next round.
