Regular Season Round 17: Recanati - Teramo 71-63

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Recanati (11-6) defeated at home 7th ranked Teramo (9-8) 71-63 on Sunday. Point guard Francesco Guarino (182-79, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners and naturalized Senegalese power forward Yande Fall (203-90, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 8 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian power forward Bogdan Milojevic (200-98) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and guard Simone Salamina (188-88) scored 8 points and 7 assists. Four Teramo players scored in double figures. Recanati moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Lecco. Loser Teramo dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. Recanati will face Cerignola Udas (#14) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Teramo will play against Senigallia (#6) and hope to win that game.
