Five Real Madrid players scored in double figures. At the losing side Croatian point guard Marko Popovic (185-82, college: S.Idaho JC, agency: Alti Sport) responded with 18 points and DR Congolese Christian Eyenga (201-89) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Real Madrid have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-1 record. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada at the other side dropped to the second place with five games lost. They share the position with FC Barcelona and Valencia. Real Madrid will play against Gipuzkoa (#11) in San Sebastian in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada will play on the road against Valencia Basket (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
