Regular Season Round 25: Heilongjiang - Shandong 80-75

Very expected game in Harbin where 12th ranked Shandong (8-17) was defeated by sixth ranked Heilongjiang (14-11) 80-75. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Aneika Henry-Morello (193-86, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). The former international forward Jiahe Zhang (182-94) contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Siyu Wang (175-95) answered with 22 points and 4 assists (made all of her eight free throws) and the former international power forward Xiao Ji (193-85) added 24 points (made all of her ten free throws !!!) in the effort for Shandong. Heilongjiang have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Jiangsu. Shandong at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 17 games lost. Heilongjiang's next round opponent will be Liaoning Hengye (#11) in Anshan which should be theoretically an easy game. Shandong will play on the road against Guangdong Dolphins in Guangzhou and hope to win that game.
