Fourth ranked Shanghai Dahua (18-7) crushed at home 7th ranked Zhejiang Far East (12-13) by 41 points 104-63, which is the biggest margin this round. Shanghai Dahua dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Zhejiang Far East's 22. Shanghai Dahua forced 26 Zhejiang Far East turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Zhejiang Far East's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Breanna Stewart (193-94, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Jing Huang (183-85) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Shanghai Dahua players scored in double figures. Wanli Dan answered with 29 points and 6 rebounds (made all of her ten free throws !!!) and forward XueMei Dong (180-92) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Zhejiang Far East. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shanghai Dahua moved-up to third place, which they share with Shanxi XR. Newly promoted Zhejiang Far East keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost. Shanghai Dahua's next round opponent will be Jiangsu Phoenix (#6) in Yixing. Zhejiang Far East will play on the road against the league's second-placed Xinjiang in Urumqi and hope to win that game.
