There was a small surprise in Aldeota where tenth ranked SKY/Basquete (6-8) beat 8th ranked Minas (7-6) 66-58 on Tuesday. The former international center Bruno Fiorotto (208-84) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Leonardo Klassmann (208-89) chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four SKY/Basquete players scored in double figures. The former international Guilherme Teichmann (206-83, college: Tulsa) responded with 4 points and 12 rebounds and forward Wesley Ferreira (201-95) scored 15 points. Minas' coach Espiga Soares let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. SKY/Basquete maintains tenth position with 6-8 record. Minas at the other side dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. SKY/Basquete will face higher ranked Mogi (#4) in Mogi das Cruzes in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
