Regular Season Round 19: Centrum - Asker Aliens 70-94

BLNO top team - Asker Aliens (20-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Centrum (1-19) in Oslo 94-70. The game without a history. Asker Aliens led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Asker Aliens shot 23 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Centrum only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Centrum 42-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for DR Congolese forward Djo Yele (203-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds. American guard Joshua Hart (194-90, college: Va Intermont) helped adding 16 points and 12 rebounds. Four Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Sander Aslesen (196-96) responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds and guard Nick Kervens (190-95) scored 7 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the twentieth consecutive win for Asker Aliens. They maintain first place with 20-0 record. Centrum lost their tenth game in a row. Defending champion stay dead last with 19 lost games. Asker Aliens will face Nidaros Jets (#7) in Tromdheim in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Centrum will play at home against Baerum Basket and hope to win that game.
