PLK top team - Anwil (16-3) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed seventeenth ranked Legia (1-18) in Warszawa 95-60. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 35 points. Anwil dominated on the defensive end, holding Legia to just 5 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Legia's 28. They outrebounded Legia 37-22 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Cape Verdean-Portuguese Ivan Almeida (198-89, college: Stonehill) who scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Croatian center Josip Sobin (203-89, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Anwil players scored in double figures.
