Regular Season Round 15: HBA-Marsky - Ura Basket 94-88

An interesting game for HBA-Marsky (12-3) which hosted in Helsinki second-best Ura Basket (10-3). First ranked HBA-Marsky managed to get a 6-point victory 94-88. Ura Basket was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 35-23 charge of HBA-Marsky, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for guard Miika Heinonen (191-99) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 7 assists. Forward Elias Valtonen (198-99) helped adding 18 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American power forward Brian Moultrie (198-87, college: Armstr.Atlantic) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Pyry Rainamaa (194-90) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. HBA-Marsky maintains first place in Division with 12-3 record. Ura Basket at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. HBA-Marsky will play against Porvoon Tarmo (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ura Basket will play against Forssan Koripojat (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
