Regular Season Round 13: Hang Tuah - NSH 76-66

Bottom-ranked NSH (0-9) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fourth ranked Hang Tuah (3-5) 76-66 on Friday evening. Hang Tuah outrebounded NSH 39-28 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Nahshon George (206-93, college: Idaho, agency: Haylett Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Guard Keenan Palmore (185-94, college: Lenoir-Rhyne) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. George is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Forward Jason Carter (206-92, college: Texas Southern, agency: Haylett Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and guard Brachon Griffin (185-92, college: Elizabeth City, agency: SDJ Sports) added 22 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hang Tuah maintains fourth place with 3-5 record. NSH lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost. Hang Tuah will meet higher ranked Garuda (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. NSH will play against Stapac and hopes to get finally their first victory.
