Regular Season Round 15: Saint-Chamond - Fos-Provence 57-73

The most interesting game of round 15 was a home defeat of 6th ranked Saint Chamond (10-5) by fifth ranked Provence Basket (11-4) who outscored them by 16 points 73-57. The game without a history. Provence Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for Ivorian-American swingman Charles Abouo (196-89, college: BYU) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 6 rebounds. Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. Provence Basket's coach Remi Giutta used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was power forward Jean-Stephane Rinna (205-83) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Jonathan Hoyaux (195-88) scored 10 points. Provence Basket have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Roanne. Saint Chamond at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Nancy. Provence Basket is looking forward to face league's leader Entente Orleans 45 at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Saint Chamond will play against STB Le Havre (#16) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
