The game with biggest result difference took place in Queretaro. Local Libertadores (6-21) lost to fifth ranked Aaguacateros (15-14) 100-86 on Friday night. Aaguacateros made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Aaguacateros outrebounded Libertadores 40-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. American Dominic McGuire (206-85, college: Fresno St.) fired a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Dominican guard Juan Coronado (193-83) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Aaguacateros' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Travis Gabbidon (201-86, college: UTSA) produced 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and guard Michael Perez (190-91, college: Nevada) added 11 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Five Aaguacateros and four Libertadores players scored in double figures. Aaguacateros have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 15-14 record. Newly promoted Libertadores stay at the bottom position with 21 games lost. Aaguacateros will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Libertadores will play again at home against Aaguacateros (#5) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
