Regular Season Round 13: Pula C.Tours - Dubrava 88-68

Bottom-ranked Dubrava (0-12) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 88-68 loss to fifth ranked Pula C.Tours (7-5) in Pula. The game was mostly controlled by Pula C.Tours. Dubrava was better in fourth quarter 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pula C.Tours players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Lana Packovski (170-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Center Maja Ramljak (185-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Pula C.Tours' coach Ivan Dukic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Stephanie Taylor (188, college: Cent.Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks and the other American import forward Tricia Principe (174-90) added 16 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Dubrava. Pula C.Tours maintains fifth place with 7-5 record. Dubrava lost their twelfth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Pula C.Tours will play against Brod na Savi (#10) in Slavonski Brod in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Dubrava will play at home against KK Zadar and hopes to get finally their first victory.
