Regular Season Round 20: Enea Astoria - Nysa Klodzko 89-90

A very close game took place in Bydgoszcz between Nysa Klodzko and Enea Astoria. Fifteenth ranked Nysa Klodzko (6-13) got a very close victory on the road over 13th ranked Enea Astoria (6-12). Nysa Klodzko managed to escape with a 1-point win 90-89 on Saturday evening. The winners were led by swingman Tomasz Stepien (192-86) who scored that evening 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and point guard Marc-Oscar Sanny (186-96) supported him with 13 points. Even 16 points and 4 assists by Michal Aleksandrowicz (192-89) did not help to save the game for Enea Astoria. Dorian Szyttenholm (193-83) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Nysa Klodzko moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with SKK Siedlce. Enea Astoria lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. Nysa Klodzko will meet at home higher ranked Polfarmex (#3) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Enea Astoria will play against KK Warszawa (#17) and hope to secure a win.
