The game between fifth ranked HyPo (10-7) and 6th ranked Espoo Team (7-10) in Hyvinkaa on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. HyPo beat guests from Espoo 91-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Espoo Team. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-79. HyPo looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Estonian power forward Annika Koster (185-92) nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and power forward Titta-Riina Lepisto (184-90) accounted for 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Kamilah Jackson (181-92, college: Hawaii) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 25 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and the other American import guard Zykira Lewis (173-94, college: Cent.Florida, agency: Two Points) added 22 points respectively for Espoo Team in the defeat. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with ViVe. Loser Espoo Team keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Kouvot. HyPo will meet at home Kouvottaret (#7) in the next round. Espoo Team will play against Peli-Karhut and hope to secure a win.
