Regular Season Round 20: R8 Krakow - Notec Inowr. 96-73

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked R8 Krakow (13-6) crushed at home 16th ranked Notec Inowr. (4-15) 96-73 on Saturday. They outrebounded Notec Inowr. 35-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. R8 Krakow looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Patryk Pelka (202-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Naturalized Bosnian power forward Seid Hajric (204-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Grzegorz Malecki (195-84) replied with 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and point guard Aleksander Filipiak (185-90) added 21 points in the effort for Notec Inowr.Five R8 Krakow and four Notec Inowr. players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. R8 Krakow have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted R8 Krakow maintains fifth position with 13-6 record. Notec Inowr. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 15 games lost. R8 Krakow will face Siarka (#8) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round. Notec Inowr. will play at home against Sokol Lancut (#4) and hope to win that game.
