Regular Season Round 15: Adareva - CVCD Granada 55-62

Rather expected game in Laguna where 12th ranked Adareva (3-12) was defeated by tenth ranked CVCD Granada (5-10) 62-55 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-13. But Adareva won second period 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Patricia Fernandez who scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Bosnian center Aleksandra Begenisic (193-89) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward TyDesheaia Pool (185, college: SE Louisiana) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Ainara Ramasco (172-89) added 13 points respectively. Adareva's coach Maria Sosa tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. CVCD Granada moved-up to ninth place in Group B. Loser Adareva dropped to the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. CVCD Granada will face Distrito Olimpico (#10) in Madrid in the next round. Adareva will play on the road against Picken Claret in Valencia and hope to win that game.
