Regular Season Round 16: Grissin Bon RE - Scandone AV 89-86

There was a change at the Serie A leadership position after last games. Round 16 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Scandone AV (12-4). They were edged by twelfth ranked Grissin Bon RE (6-10) 89-86 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Scandone AV. Five Grissin Bon RE and four Scandone AV players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Grissin Bon RE moved-up to eleventh place. Scandone AV at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Germani BR who have the same record. Scandone AV will play next round against league's leader Germani BR trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Grissin Bon RE will try to continue on its current victory against sixteenth ranked VL Pesaro on the road.
