Regular Season Round 16: Strasbourg U21 - Pau-Lacq-Orthez 73-50

Very expected game when 17th ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (2-14) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Strasbourg U21 (12-4) 73-50 on Saturday. Strasbourg U21 forced 20 Pau-Lacq-Orthez turnovers and had a 36-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Ludovic Beyhurst (172-99) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Marc Kwedi (200-97) who added 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Strasbourg U21 players scored in double figures. Strasbourg U21's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Hugo Labadie responded with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Ousmanou Ndjoya scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Strasbourg U21 maintains second position with 12-4 record having just two points less than leader Cholet. Pau-Lacq-Orthez lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth place with 14 games lost. Strasbourg U21 will meet Hyeres-Toulon (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will play against Antibes (#18) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
