Regular Season Round 15: Bashkimi - Borea 97-70

The game between second ranked Bashkimi (10-4) and 8th ranked Borea (2-13) in Prizren ended with biggest points difference. Bashkimi outscored guests from Peja 97-70. Bashkimi dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Borea's 26. They outrebounded Borea 42-28 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bashkimi players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Borea's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Aaron Moss (185, college: Cabrini) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds, 12 assists and 6 steals. Point guard Altin Morina (194-94) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Bashkimi's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Musab Malaj (185-96) who recorded 18 points and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Blendi Matoshi (196-94) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively. Five Bashkimi and four Borea players scored in double figures. Bashkimi maintains second place with 10-4 record having just seven point less than leader Sigal Prishtina. Borea lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team still keeps top position with 13 games lost. Bashkimi's next round opponent will be again league's leader Borea in Peja and it will be for sure the game of the week.
