Tenth-ranked Nova Ves (3-23) gave a tough game to first ranked Inter Bratislava (23-3) on Saturday. The visitors from Bratislava managed to secure only three-point victory 85-82. However their fans expected much easier game. 28 personal fouls committed by Nova Ves helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Montenegrin point guard Goran Bulatovic (186-88) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian Nemanja Barac (194-90, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in 22 points during the contest. Five Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Richard Amardi (206-90, college: Oregon) responded with 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Tyreek Jewell (188-93, college: St.Francis, NY) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Defending champion maintains first position with 23-3 record. Nova Ves lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Inter Bratislava are looking forward to face Levice (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Nova Ves will play against Iskra Svit (#5) and are hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
