Not a big story in a game when 4th placed Osaka Evessa (8-22) was defeated at home by first ranked Ryukyu GK (23-7) 81-69 on Saturday. Ryukyu GK outrebounded Osaka Evessa 37-25 including 22 on the defensive glass. International forward Ira Brown (193-82, college: Gonzaga) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and American forward Hassan Martin (201-95, college: Rhode Island) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Ryukyu GK's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American center Keith Benson (211-88, college: Oakland) with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 blocks and Takuya Hashimoto (186-94) scored 13 points. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Ryukyu GK. They maintain first place with 23-7 record, which they share with SeaHorses. Osaka Evessa lost their third game in a row.
