Regular Season Round 13: Pozega - Ragusa 57-71

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Plamen Pozega (4-8) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Ragusa (7-4) 71-57 on Saturday. Karla Kalajzic stepped up and scored 27 points, 5 assists and 7 steals for the winners and the former international forward Josipa Zovko (186-90) chipped in 13 points and 15 rebounds. At the losing side guard Martina Lovric (170-87) responded with 17 points and guard Kristina Soldo (177-88) scored 4 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Ragusa. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Podravac. Plamen Pozega lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Ragusa will meet at home league's second-placed ZKK Medvescak in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Plamen Pozega will have a break next round.
