MIA-RO Cantu's coach Marco Sodini used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Canadian forward Dyshawn Pierre (198-93, college: Dayton) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and international forward Achille Polonara (203-91) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five MIA-RO Cantu and four Banco di Srd players scored in double figures. MIA-RO Cantu have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Virtus Bologna. Loser Banco di Srd dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. MIA-RO Cantu will face Vanoli Cremona (#8) on the road in the next round. Banco di Srd will play against Fiat TO and hope to win that game.
