There was no surprise when 9th ranked Marghera (7-9) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Team Crema (11-5) 65-57 on Sunday. Team Crema had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Martina Capoferri (174-91, agency: SPORTlab Agency) fired 21 points for the winners. Guard Paola Caccialanza (172-89) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian forward Florencia Llorente (182-92) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Marta Granzotto (175-92) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Despite that victory Team Crema went down to sixth position (A2) due to points difference. Loser Marghera keeps the ninth place with nine games lost. Team Crema will face Albino (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Marghera will play against Cagliari CUS (#12) and hope to win that game.
