The game in Goteborg supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Wetterbygden (11-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Hogsbo (5-9). Wetterbygden smashed Hogsbo 101-63. The game without a history. Wetterbygden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Wetterbygden forced 22 Hogsbo turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Senegalese center Wally Niang (206-96) notched 19 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Jesper Wennerholm (180-96) supported him with 18 points. Even 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists by guard Lukas Brehm (191-91) did not help to save the game for Hogsbo. The former international power forward Martin Ringstrom (206-81) added 5 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wetterbygden have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-4 record having four points less than leader Djurgarden. Hogsbo lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with nine games lost. Wetterbygden will play against AIK Basket (#4) in Solna in the next round. Hogsbo will play on the road against LF Future in Lulea and hopes to get back on the winning track.
