We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Imola (8-9) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Kleb Ferrara (8-9) 76-65 on Sunday. Kleb Ferrara outrebounded Imola 49-30 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Swedish-American Erik Rush (196-88, college: Montana St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and American-Irish forward Mike Hall (203-84, college: G.Washington, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Kleb Ferrara players scored in double figures. Forward Davide Alviti (202-96) responded with 22 points and 5 rebounds and American Jeremiah Wilson (205-88, college: Tarleton St.) scored 7 points and 11 rebounds. Imola's coach Demis Cavina let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kleb Ferrara maintains tenth place in A2 with 8-9 record. Kleb Ferrara will face higher ranked F.Kontatto BO (#3) in Bologna in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
