Regular Season Round 24: Tsmoki-Minsk - COR Victoria 91-61

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Tsmoki-Minsk (14-2) crushed at home 6th ranked BrGU COR Victoria (3-15) 91-61. The game was mostly controlled by Tsmoki-Minsk. BrGU COR Victoria was better in fourth quarter 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tsmoki-Minsk dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to BrGU COR Victoria's 32. Tsmoki-Minsk players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Katsiaryna Rybalka (182-98) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds and international guard Anastasiya Sushchyk (160-97) who added 14 points and 10 assists during the contest. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach Andrey Vavleu felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Anastasia Babak (177-2) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and forward Victoria Levchuk (175-0) scored 6 points and 9 rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 14-2 record having six points less than leader Olimpia. BrGU COR Victoria lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Victoria. Tsmoki-Minsk's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena Gorizont.
