Regular Season Round 15: Pauian - Fubon Braves 85-96

Leading Pauian (10-8) recorded its eighth loss against fifth ranked Fubon Braves. Fubon Braves were defeated by fifth ranked Fubon Braves (9-8) 96-85. Fubon Braves outrebounded Pauian 42-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Tsung-Hsien Chang (192-87, college: BYU-Hawaii) who led the winners and scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American center Garret Siler (213-86, college: Augusta) accounted for 12 points and 17 rebounds for the winning side. Five Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. The former international forward Douglas Creighton (196-85, college: Madonna) came up with 24 points and 5 assists and point guard Chen Jian-En (181-88, college: Biola, CA) added 23 points respectively for Pauian in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fubon Braves moved-up to third place, which they share with Dacin Tigers and Bank of Taiwan. Pauian at the other side dropped to the second position with eight games lost. Fubon Braves will play against KKL (#6) in the next round. Pauian will play against Taiwan Beer (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
