Regular Season Round 15: Maccabi K/G - Hapoel B/S 83-85

Important game to mention about took place in Kiryat Gat. Fourth ranked Hapoel B/S (10-5) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging second-best Maccabi K/G (11-4) 85-83 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Maccabi K/G. It was a great evening for American guard Andell Cumberbatch (196-93, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: Ron Sport) helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was American-Azerbaijani forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Polish point guard Nimrod Tishman (197-91, agency: Avi Zilberman) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel B/S have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Elitzur K-A. Maccabi K/G at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Hapoel B/S will play against Hapoel Kfar Saba (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Maccabi K/G will play against Maccabi Raanana (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
