Regular Season Round 10: Blokotehna - Levski Lukoil 74-63

Very significant was FYR Macedonian Blokotehna's (#1, 8-1) victory against 3rd ranked Bulgarian Levski 2014 (3-4) 74-63. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Levski 2014. American forward Dwayne Benjamin (201-93, college: Oregon) scored 30 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Russian-Israeli power forward Anton Kazarnovski (206-85) chipped in 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina, agency: Two Points) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and guard Stanimir Marinov (192-91, agency: Interperformances) scored 9 points. Levski 2014's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Blokotehna (8-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Blokotehna maintains first position, which they share with Rilski. Levski 2014 at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Akademik PL. Blokotehna is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Ibar Rozaje (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Levski 2014 will play against Bashkimi (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
