Fourth ranked Bulgarian Academik Plovdiv (3-4) crushed at home 7th ranked Montenegrin Ibar Rozaje (1-6) by 21 points 91-70, which is the biggest margin this round on Wednesday night. Academik Plovdiv looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Ibar Rozaje's players. Serbian center Nikola Maravic (212-89, agency: BeoBasket) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Martin Durchev (202-87) chipped in 20 points and 9 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American guard Gerel Simmons (188-93, college: Lincoln Memorial) produced 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Maurice Jeffers (207-94, college: Boston Coll.) added 10 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Ibar Rozaje players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Academik Plovdiv moved-up to third place, which they share with Levski 2014. Loser Ibar Rozaje stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Academik Plovdiv will meet at home league's second-placed Rilski in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ibar Rozaje will play against the league's leader Blokotehna (#1) in Gevgelija and hope to win that game.
