Regular Season Round 27: Handlova - Zilina 91-73

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Zilina's (4-23) road loss to eighth ranked Handlova (7-20) 73-91. Handlova players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian Djordje Tresac (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!). Serbian swingman Jovan Djordjevic (198-93) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Robert Rozanek (190-96) came up with 25 points and 6 rebounds and American center Brandon Holcomb (201-93, college: Radford) added 11 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Zilina in the defeat. Five Handlova and four Zilina players scored in double figures. Handlova maintains eighth place with 7-20 record. Zilina lost their fifteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 23 games lost. Handlova's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Kosice at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zilina will play against Karlovka (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
