CBA top team - Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (24-6) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Sharks (15-15) in Hangzhou 113-105. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sharks. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Sharks 52-34 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: 3Eye) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 12 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. International center Jinqiu Hu (208-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) replied with 38 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import Nick Minnerath (207-88, college: Detroit Mercy) added 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sharks. Five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and four Sharks players scored in double figures. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 24-6 record. Sharks at the other side keep the eleventh place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Beikong FD. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions are looking forward to face Jiangsu Dragons (#4) in Nanjing in the next round. Sharks will play on the road against Golden Bulls (#9) in Hangzhou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
