Alexela KML top team - Kalev/Cramo (16-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixth ranked Parnu (6-11) 93-86. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Parnu won third quarter 26-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kalev/Cramo made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Isaiah Briscoe (191-96, college: Kentucky) who scored 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American-Bulgarian power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Kalev/Cramo's coach Donaldas Kairys allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Mihkel Kirves (190-96) who recorded 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Karl-Johan Lips (198-96) added 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively. Five Kalev/Cramo and four Parnu players scored in double figures. The victory was the sixteenth consecutive win for Kalev/Cramo. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-0 record. Parnu lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 11 games lost. Kalev/Cramo's next round opponent will be Rapla (#4) on the road. Parnu will play against Valga and hope to win that game.
