There was a minor upset when 14th ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (7-12) lost on the road to seventeenth ranked Aubenas (6-13) 67-59 on Friday. Quite impressive performance for American forward Justin Moss (201-93, college: Buffalo) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized Cameroonian forward Michel Ipouck (200-86) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Aubenas players scored in double figures. Aubenas' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Vincentian-Canadian forward Lien Phillip (203-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian swingman Igor Djukovic (202-87) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Lourdes-Tarbes. Aubenas maintains seventeenth place with 6-13 record. Loser Lourdes-Tarbes keeps the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Aubenas will face higher ranked UB Chartres (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
