Regular Season Round 31: Zhejiang GB - Shanghai S. 85-103

There was a minor upset in Hangzhou where 9th ranked Golden Bulls (18-13) were defeated by eleventh ranked Sharks (16-15) 103-85. It was a great shooting night for Sharks especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 47 points (!!!), 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Nick Minnerath (207-88, college: Detroit Mercy) contributed with 26 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Sonny Weems (198-86, college: Arkansas) answered with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds and forward Jarnell Stokes (201-94, college: Tennessee) added 25 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Golden Bulls. Golden Bulls' coach tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Sharks moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Guangzhou LL. Golden Bulls at the other side keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Sharks' next round opponent will be higher ranked Jiangsu Dragons (#5) in Nanjing and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
